Arunachal Pradesh Tour Packages
India's easternmost frontier of monasteries and valleys
Duration
6N/7D
Starting From
₹28,999 /person
Best Time
March to June and September to November; roads over Sela Pass can close in heavy winter snow.
Overview
Arunachal needs an Inner Line Permit and more advance planning than most Indian destinations, which is exactly why it stays uncrowded. Tawang's Buddhist monastery, the second-largest in the world after Lhasa, sits at the end of a dramatic road over Sela Pass, and we build in a full rest day at altitude before pushing on, since the elevation gain from Guwahati is steep and fast.
