India to Thailand Trip Package

30 June 2026

Thailand has quietly become one of the easier international trips to plan from India, partly because of geography and partly because the visa situation has genuinely improved in recent years.

Indian passport holders currently get visa-free entry to Thailand for tourist stays of up to 60 days, which removed what used to be the biggest planning hurdle for a Thailand trip. Visa rules do shift, so it's worth confirming the current requirement shortly before you fly rather than assuming last year's rule still holds — but for now, paperwork isn't what determines whether this trip is easy.

Direct flights from Hyderabad to Bangkok run just over three hours, similar to a Dubai trip in terms of what it does to your day, which makes even a five-night trip comfortable.

Bangkok covers temples — Wat Arun, Wat Pho's reclining Buddha, the Grand Palace — plus the Chatuchak weekend market and street food that's a genuine part of the trip rather than a side activity. Pattaya, about two hours away by road, is the easy beach add-on if time is short, with day trips out to Koh Larn for clearer water. Phuket or Krabi, reached by a separate domestic flight, trade convenience for better beaches and islands — Phi Phi from Phuket, Railay's limestone cliffs from Krabi — and are worth the extra leg if beach time matters more than temple time.

November through February is the dry, cooler season across the country and the most reliable window to travel; April and May turn hot and humid before the rains arrive. The west coast around Phuket and Krabi gets heavier monsoon rain from roughly June to October than the Gulf coast around Koh Samui, which runs on a slightly different pattern. Whether it's a Bangkok-Pattaya combination or a beach-first Phuket trip, the two decide different parts of the itinerary — we can help split the days once we know which one matters more to you.
