Overview

Paris rewards a walkable itinerary more than a checklist one — the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Notre-Dame area sit close enough together that we build in unstructured time along the Seine rather than scheduling every hour. A day trip to Versailles is worth the RER ride out if you have it, since the palace gardens alone take half a day to see properly.
