Shimla Tour Packages

Overview

Shimla works well as a short, easy hill break — a toy train or road drive up from Kalka, a couple of unhurried days on the Ridge and Mall Road, and a day trip out to Kufri or Naldehra depending on what's open. It's the hill station we recommend most often for families with young kids or first-time travellers to the mountains, since nothing here requires much stamina.

Day-wise Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrive Shimla

   Drive up from Kalka or Chandigarh, evening walk on the Mall Road and Ridge.

2. Day 2

   Shimla Local Sightseeing

   Jakhoo Temple, Christ Church, Gaiety Theatre and the Ridge.

3. Day 3

   Kufri Excursion

   Day trip to Kufri for valley views and optional horse or yak rides.

4. Day 4

   Departure

   Leisure morning, drive back to Chandigarh or Kalka.
